How much can you earn from a Fox ESS battery?
We pay £1/kWh for every unit your Fox ESS battery exports during a grid event, and at least £10 a month even when the grid is quiet.
Events depend on grid conditions in your area, so earnings vary month to month. Payments stack on top of any export tariff you already have.

Is your Fox ESS system compatible with Axle?
Axle works with every Fox ESS inverter that connects to FoxESS Cloud, including hybrid or AC-coupled, single or three-phase. Compatibility depends on the inverter, not the battery, so any Fox ESS battery attached to one of these works too.
Compatible Fox ESS inverters include
- H1 and AC1 single-phase, 3.0 to 6 kW, including the current H1-G2 and AC1-G2
- KH hybrid and KA AC-coupled single-phase, 7 to 10.5 kW
- H3 and AC3 three-phase, plus the current H3 Smart (5 to 15 kW) and H3 Pro (15 to 30 kW)
- Evo and PowerQ all-in-one systems, and the earlier AIO-H1 and AIO-H3

How to connect your Fox ESS battery to Axle

Sign up with your email address or Google.

Upload a recent electricity bill
We read your address and tariff from it and check that your smart meter can be read. Works with any UK energy supplier and tariff.

Select Fox ESS and connect
Sign in to FoxESS Cloud and allow Axle to read your battery's metrics and control it during grid events.

Your Fox ESS battery is part of the Axle VPP
We email you the day before your first grid event. Your battery exports during it, and the earnings land in your Axle balance a few days later, ready to withdraw whenever you like.
