How much can you earn from a GivEnergy battery?
We pay £1/kWh for every unit your GivEnergy battery exports during a grid event, and at least £10 a month even when the grid is quiet.
Events depend on grid conditions in your area, so earnings vary month to month. Payments stack on top of any export tariff you already have.

Is your GivEnergy system compatible with Axle?
Axle works with every GivEnergy inverter that reports to GivEnergy Cloud, hybrid or AC-coupled, single or three-phase, and with any GivEnergy battery attached to one.
Compatible GivEnergy inverters include
- Single-phase hybrids: 3.6 and 5.0 kW in Gen 1, Gen 2 and Gen 3, plus the 8 and 10 kW Gen 3
- Three-phase hybrids: 6, 8, 10, 12 and 20 kW
- AC Coupled 3 kW, for adding a battery to existing solar
- All in One: the 3.6 kW and 6 kW AC-coupled models and the All in One 2

How to connect your GivEnergy battery to Axle

Create your Axle account
Sign up with your email address or Google.

Upload a recent electricity bill
We read your address and tariff from it and check that your smart meter can be read. Works with any UK energy supplier and tariff.

Select GivEnergy and connect
Sign in to GivEnergy Cloud with the account that owns the system, not an installer or delegate login, and allow Axle to read your battery's metrics and control it during grid events.

Your GivEnergy battery is part of the Axle VPP
We email you the day before your first grid event. Your battery exports during it, and the earnings land in your Axle balance a few days later, ready to withdraw whenever you like.
