Axle pays you £1 per kWh you export during grid events, and a minimum of £10 a month.

Axle links thousands of home batteries into one virtual power plant. When the grid needs power, they export together and you get paid.

We pay £1/kWh for every unit your SolarEdge battery exports during a grid event, and at least £10 a month even when the grid is quiet.
Events depend on grid conditions in your area, so earnings vary month to month. Payments stack on top of any export tariff you already have.
Here's what a few of them say.
“I love being part of Axle! It's great to help balance the grid and reduce the need to fire up dirty power stations when demand is high, and getting paid for doing it is a very nice bonus! The whole experience has been excellent too: payments are quick and straightforward, the website is easy to use, and whenever I've needed help their customer support team has been fast and helpful.”
“Trouble free with SolarEdge kit and doesn't interfere with our octopus cosy tariff. We've had a good number of events in our area usually earning us around £15 - £20 a month. We joined this June, I imagine there will be slim months but they guarantee £10 a month anyway. If you have solar and a battery then I would highly recommend. We have a 10kw battery and 5kw inverter.”
“I'm impressed by Axle VPP. Signing up was easy and their software works well for me, integrating seamlessly with my Solaredge battery and inverter. It "just works". … The earnings aren't huge, they seem to be working out at between £10 and £20 per month. But when combined with my existing export payments (Axle's supplement these) I think my net electricity bill this year will be near enough zero.”

Axle works with any SolarEdge system whose battery is managed by a SolarEdge inverter and showing in mySolarEdge, single or three-phase. Compatibility depends on the inverter, so a SolarEdge-managed battery of any size works too.

A virtual power plant (VPP) links thousands of home batteries so they act like one power station. Axle's VPP includes SolarEdge batteries alongside other brands. Yours joins through mySolarEdge and earns £1 for every kWh it exports during grid events.
