Axle pays you £1 per kWh you export during grid events, and a minimum of £10 a month.

Axle links thousands of home batteries into one virtual power plant. When the grid needs power, they export together and you get paid.

We pay £1/kWh for every unit your battery exports during a grid event, and at least £10 a month even when the grid is quiet.
Events depend on grid conditions in your area, so earnings vary month to month. Payments stack on top of any export tariff you already have.
Here's what a few of them say.
SolaX owner“Axle has been a game changer for me. Where else can you get paid £1 per kWh during grid events. A guaranteed £10 per month. And you don't even need to change supplier! We asked for more events and you've delivered on that front too. Keep up the great work Axle team.”
Sigenergy owner“Been with Axle a couple of months now. Sigenergy battery system. Usually make around £8.50 per event which is usually 1 hour. … Axle take control of my battery during the event & after they switch it back to my normal program. Great way to increase our ROI. Seamless & hassle free. Money is in the account 72 hours after the event.”
“I love being part of Axle! It's great to help balance the grid and reduce the need to fire up dirty power stations when demand is high, and getting paid for doing it is a very nice bonus! The whole experience has been excellent too: payments are quick and straightforward, the website is easy to use, and whenever I've needed help their customer support team has been fast and helpful.”
Axle works with Solis hybrid and AC-coupled inverters on SolisCloud, single or three-phase, with whichever battery they're paired with. Grid-tied Solis inverters have no battery, so they can't join.
Under 5 minutes. You'll need your email address, a recent electricity bill and your SolisCloud login.

We read your address and tariff from it and check that your smart meter can be read. Works with any UK energy supplier and tariff.
Sign in to SolisCloud with your own owner account, not your installer's, and allow Axle to read your battery's metrics and control it during grid events.
We email you the day before your first grid event. Your battery exports during it, and the earnings land in your Axle balance a few days later, ready to withdraw whenever you like.
A virtual power plant (VPP) links thousands of home batteries so they act like one power station. Axle's VPP includes Solis inverters alongside other brands. Yours joins through SolisCloud and earns £1 for every kWh it exports during grid events.
